How does Groopit define a licensed user?

A licensed user means any individual for whom there is a unique Groopit user account permitting the user to share, view, or access data. Each licensed user must be assigned a unique user account and no more than one person may be permitted to use the account to share, view, or access data and Groopit. The Enterprise Plan includes unlimited licensed users, so with this subscription you will never need to buy additional licensed users.

Can you add more licensed users to your subscription?

The Groopit for Enterprise Plan includes unlimited licensed users, so with this subscription, you will never need to add additional licensed users.

The Groopit for Business Plan supports 1-500 licensed users. Administrators can add additional licensed users in quantities of 100. Each additional quantity of 100 licensed users above the base number included in the subscription costs $1,000 annually. During the subscription term, you are allowed to exceed your prepaid licensed user capacity. At the end of each calendar month, if the number of licensed users exceeds your prepaid user license volume, you will be subject to a true-up charge. To learn more about true-up charges please review, the How do true-ups work? section of this FAQ.

How does Groopit define a Data Sharing Workflow?

A Data Sharing Workflow is the form people use to share data. The total number of active Data Sharing Workflows is what is measured for licensing purposes. If you are no longer using a Data Sharing Workflow, it can be made inactive. Inactive workflows are not included in the count of total active Data Sharing Workflows. The Groopit for Enterprise plan supports up to 15 active Data Sharing Workflows, and the Groopit for Business plan supports up to 5 active Data Sharing Workflows

Can you add more Data Sharing Workflows to your subscription?

Yes, additional Data Sharing Workflows can be purchased for $1,200 annually. Each purchase increases the number of active Data Sharing Workflows included in your plan by one. During the subscription, you are allowed to exceed your prepaid Data Sharing Workflows capacity with no limitation on usage. At the end of each calendar month of the subscription, if the actual number of Data Sharing Workflows exceeds the prepaid volume included in your subscription, you will be subject to a true-up charge. To learn more about true-ups please review, the How do true-ups work? section of this FAQ.

Can you add the Salesforce App & Integration to the Groopit for Business Plan?

Yes, you can add the Salesforce App & Integration capabilities to the Groopit for Business for an additional $15,000 per year. If you add this capability during your subscription term, you will be charged for the pro-rata amount for the remainder of the subscription term

How do True-Ups work?

During the subscription term, you are allowed to exceed prepaid subscription capacity with no limitations. For the Groopit for Business Plan, this capacity applies to Licensed Users and Data Sharing Workflows. For the Groopit for Enterprise Plan, this capacity applies to Data Sharing Workflows. At the end of each calendar month of the subscription, you agree to align your subscription capacity to actual usage. If your actual usage exceeds prepaid license volume, you will be subject to a True-Up Charge.

The True-Up Charge is calculated by multiplying your True-Up Quantity by a True-Up Rate pro-rated to the remainder of your Subscription Term (calculated by taking the number of remaining calendar days in the Term and dividing by 365). The True-Up Quantity is the difference between your Actual Usage Volume as measured on the last day of the calendar month and your prepaid subscription capacity. True-Up Rates are documented in the Sales Order. Any True-Up Charge will be invoiced or charged through the established payment method and net payment Terms.

For example:

Groopit for Business Plan Prepaid with 500 Licensed Users capacity and 5 Data Sharing Workflows with subscription term 1/1/2022-12/31/2022. On March 31, 2022, the Actual Usage Volume is 550 Licensed Users and 6 Data Sharing Workflows. Customer is charged $1,000/year for an additional block of 100 Licensed Users and $1,200/year for additional Data Sharing Workflow prorated for the remaining 275 calendar days of the Subscription Term for a total invoiced amount of $1,657.53.
